ERROR: EXCDO 8206 Calendaring agent failed with error code 0xfffff9bf while saving appointment

Summary

Synchronization of recurring appointments can result in the Microsoft Exchange Information Store no longer being able to process recurring meetings. The issue appears after an extended period of synchronization and is temporarily fixed by restarting the Information Store. Microsoft has identified an issue with Exchange and has issued a hotfix. DidItBetter Software has also identified and resolved related synchronization issues with recurring meetings and has implemented a fix with Add2Exchange 5.2 and later

Description

This WAS an unintended limitation in the way Exchange handles copies of recurring meetings identified by Microsoft. The Microsoft hotfix removes the limitation. This hotfix is not a part of Microsoft Exchange updates as of the time of this writing and must be specifically requested via the hotfix link.

Add2Exchange 5.2 and later have been modified to minimize the number of copies of recurring meetings to mitigate this issue. This does not prevent the issue from occurring, it simply extends the time of correct operation before failure. It is highly recommended that you upgrade to the latest version of Add2Exchange if you are experiencing this issue.
