Exchange 2007 to 2010 with Co-Existence

We're about to make our DNS changes to make our Exchange 2010 environment primary while slowly planning to move over mailboxes over the next few weeks. Along with the move we planned to transition A2E Enterprise (We only only use it for one-way GAL sync and it's going to stay on the same server) however I'm sure that when we replicate and finally isolate Public Folders to the new mailbox server we'll have an issue. Is there an best practice when dealing with a co-existence environment?

Thanks!

Sorry if its been answered in a previous post!

Sure, these are great resources:

Generally good advice:

Migrations:

Mixed Mode:

Similar for 2007 and 2010 as for 2003 and 2007 or 2010

Basically, the overview is that your relationships will go into alert status after you migrate mailboxes and you fix them with the Recovery and Migration Management Tool  Buy Now

Stop the Add2Exchange Service, migrate the users all at once or in a stepped fashion, Start Add2Exchange Service, those rels will go into alert and then you them with the Recovery and Migration tool.  The tool is half off on support.
