Can't create private to private relationships in A2E connecting to an Exchange 2010 server

Having problems creating a PRIVATE to PRIVATE contacts or calendar relationship in A2E Enterprise Edition.
Exchange server is 2010 with Rollup 3.
A2E is installed on a different server with the latest CDO version installed and Windows 2003 SP3.

When I try and create a PRIVATE to PRIVATE relationship (calendar or contacts), I select the source mailbox and I get the following error message :

"The Source Mailbox cannot be the same as the destination mailbox!"
It doesn't accept any source or destination mailbox I pick.

What's interesting is if I setup a relationship using the Relationship Group Manager it works fine and synchronizes correctly.
I just can't seem to create individual private to private relationships.

This is a clean install on a brand new Windows 2003 Server....
I checked the following article ( http://support.diditbetter.com/kb/A2E_188.aspx ) and followed the instructions when setting it up, but keep getting the error described above.

Any ideas ?

Re: Can't create private to private relationships in A2E connecting to an Exchange 2010 server

Hi Nadim,

I occasionally get this error when I'm "quick on the draw" and click the source-side "Select Mailbox" button before the console has a chance to open it for me automatically.  That is, when you set up a new relationship, it pops the source folder selection for you automatically.  If I click the button before it does this, I end up getting the dialog, but then getting the "same source and destination" error once I click OK.

Try opening the relationship and waiting a moment for the source folder selection to pop by itself.

If I've misunderstood your description of the issue, let me know.

Please make sure you have the latest version available on the web.  This was a known issue we resolved.

Ted : It's not a speed issue. Even if I wait for the user picker window to pop up and select the user slowly, I get the same error message.
I don't even get to the stage where I pick the folder within the user's mailbox, it just errors out when I select a user and click on OK.
Doesn't matter if it's a source or destination mailbox...

TervoCharged : I download the latest version of A2E (12.5.483.217) today and installed that on a clean Win2k3 server just in case it was a bug that was fixed.
Same error message.

Trace (TervoCharged) and I discussed this and he said it was addressed in the latest release of Standard.  Unfortunately, you are using Enterprise.  I'll have to consult with him on whether it made it over to the Enterprise Edition yet (apparently not), but it won't be until tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay, we'll be on it in the morning.  Thanks for your patience.

Ok thanks.
Let me know if it's a bug that will be fixed in a newer version of A2E Enterprise or if it might be something else.
